Nipsey Hussle’s baby mama, Tanisha Foster arrives in court to battle with the late rapper’s family for the custody of their seven year-old daughter, Emani Asghedom.
It was recently reported that the late rapper’s sister Samantha Smith filed for legal guardianship of Emani after the death of Nipsey.
Hot New Hip Hop just revealed that Foster showed up in court in LA in order to make it very clear to the judge that she wants to see her daughter and ” – according to a custody order obtained by The Blast between Nipsey and Foster from 2013 – she was awarded both physical and legal joint-custody with Nip,” the online publication writes.
It seems that Tanisha will also be filing for child support, and she wants that the financial help will come from Nipsey’s estate.
According to the latest reports, the L.A. Department of Children and Family Services also got involved into the matter just to make sure that the child gets to be placed in the best home especially since she’s still a minor.
It was also reported that Foster broke down in tears when she arrived at the court and saw her daughter. It seems that she had not seen her in months.
The courtroom was cleared and Tanisha and Emani had a bit of time to spend together. The hearing has been pushed until this Friday when a final decision is supposed to be made on both custody and finance issues.
Foster aka Chyna Hussle took to Instagram before coming to court and she posted a selfie with the caption ‘Love my kids I’ll always rise to the occasion for them ❤️’.
Fans wished her good luck.
