According to a report from People.com, Jeffree Star shared his side of the Tati Westbrook and James Charles story on Instagram and YouTube recently. Jeffree said on his social media account that, “I think things are getting crazy dangerous and we need to have a conversation.”
In the video named, “Never Doing This Again,” the YouTuber influencer claims he was taken back to his dark place following James Charles mention of him in the video.
Star insinuated he was sitting on a pile of information, including text messages, voice memos, and more, however, rather than stoking the flames of the fire, so to speak, Jeffree said it was better to simply move on. Regarding his friendship with James, Star admitted, “I definitely think I mishandled our friendship.”
During Westbrook’s 43-minute discussion of all the things she wasn’t pleased with regarding Mr. Charles, Tati claims Charles had a habit of sexually harassing straight men, and referenced an occasion specifically in Seattle, Washington.
Star said in the same video that he simply wants to move on from this dilemma, because “this has to stop.” Moreover, Star claims to have felt regret for not revealing his true emotions to the YouTube influencer regarding his behavior.
As it was previously reported, Star said Charles was a “danger to society” previously, and also claimed he was banned from his mansion in Calabasas because of his past actions. During James 41-minute video, the massive influencer who lost 3 million viewers in the shortest amount of time ever seen on YouTube, addressed some of Star’s claims.
The 19-year-old influencer stated in his video that Jeffree’s comments about him were flat-out lies. Charles accused Star of pushing him to talk to Zach, the boy he supposedly came on to one evening, appearing to place the blame on Jeffree for his actions.
James came under fire recently after he promoted a line of products on his channel, rather than collaborate with the YouTuber who helped his career, Tati Westbrook. Tati, consequently, release a video in which she criticized many aspects of him.
