After rumors were swirling that Amy Schumer had secretly given birth, the comedian shut them down with an honest pregnancy update involving “puking.” She used Instagram to let her fans know she has not had her first child and her difficult pregnancy continues.
“Amy Schumer And Chris Fischer set pulses racing while the heavily pregnant Schumer flaunts her growing bump. Amy is still pregnant and puking because money rarely goes to medical studies for women such as hyperemesis or endometriosis and instead goes to things like dicks not getting hard enough or old guys who want harder dicks,” the soon to be first-time mom expressed to her 8.4 million followers.
So, what prompted Schumer to get so candid about her pregnancy? On Monday afternoon speculation was going crazy that she had secretly given birth, ironically thanks to another social media post from the I Feel Pretty star.

Schumer posted a picture of the book, Cribsheet written by Emily Oster. The book is for expectant mothers. Therefore, the comedian’s love of it would not seem out of the ordinary considering she is with child. Her caption is what had fans jumping to the conclusion Schumer had already had her baby.
“The book #expectingbetter by @profemilyoster got me through pregnancy,” began the post praising the book.
Her claiming she was “through pregnancy” got the rumor mill running. Followers immediately assumed she was referencing being pregnant in the past tense and her comments signal baby Fischer had arrived. Fans began sending congratulations to the couple, as well as remarking on how the ordinarily open and honest star was staying quiet.
Amy Schumer has been vocal about her difficult pregnancy. She has also been candid about sharing photos of her growing belly, as well as being brutally honest regarding how she feels daily. Today she used that method to let fans know despite all the hoopla and speculation she is not yet a mom.

The book #expectingbetter by @profemilyoster got me through pregnancy. It is a fact and statistic based look at pregnancy. She is an economist at Brown University. Her follow up book #cribsheet is about children from birth to preschool. I am so grateful for her work.
The 37-year-old funny woman is still pregnant, but she won’t be for much longer. Although Schumer and Fischer have not revealed her due date or the sex of the baby, they announced the pregnancy in October after her second trimester started. Based on that information all signs point to the due date being any day now.
Schumer has managed to keep her humor during her pregnancy and based on her latest Instagram post she will continue to do so up until her first child is born.
