Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Might Be Moving To Africa After Welcoming Their Baby - Here"s Why! - kkccb.net

Apparently, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle might be moving to Africa following the birth of their child. The Sunday Times was the first to report that Harry’s advisers are working on establishing a ‘bespoke’ role for the Prince and Meghan that would ‘combine some work on behalf of the Commonwealth alongside charity work and a role promoting Britain.’

Meanwhile, the royal couple is waiting to become parents any day now!

One insider tells the news outlet that ‘Discussions are at just an early stage, but the plan’s to find a new way of using their soft power abilities, most likely in Africa.’

In response to the report, the Palace has released a statement that has actually not denied nor confirmed the Africa move.

‘Any future plans for the Duke and Duchess are only speculative at this point. No decisions have been taken about their future roles. The Duke will continue to fulfill his role as a Commonwealth Youth Ambassador,’ the statement reads.

The trusted publication goes on to share that Harry and William’s special adviser on constitutional and international affairs and former British ambassador to the U.S., Sir David Manning is the one to have drawn this plan.

Furthermore, Lord Geidt, Queen Elizabeth ex-secretary and the chairman of the Queen’s Commonwealth Trust is also involved in the plans.

Insiders told the magazine that a decision is not likely to be made before 2020 however and that such an overseas role for the royal couple will probably last for about two or three years.

One source at the palace says that ‘There have been a few ideas floated for them to take a job abroad, such as governor-general of Australia or of Canada,’ but they were rejected before the Africa plan was drawn.
