As you may know, Tori Spelling got a lot of hate on social media after she promoted feeding kids muffins as a ‘healthy snack!’ But as always, regardless of the backlash, her husband Dean McDermott has her back!
The man made sure to fire back at the trolls who mom-shamed Tori for advertising an unhealthy lifestyle for children, telling people online to just ‘get over themselves.’
The backlash started when Tori posted an ad for Little Bites muffins on her Instagram account on March 27.
She made it very clear that it was a paid promotion but also included a number of snaps showing her and Dean’s young ones enjoying the snacks.
People were enraged that the mother was feeding them processed food with no nutritional value just to get some money.
Social media users have been criticizing the mother for not keeping the children’s weights in check for a while now, so that muffin ad really rubbed them the wrong way.

I’VE HAD ENOUGH!! This is news worthy?? Leave my wife @torispelling alone already!! It’s a post about a snack!! A Snack!! Do you not give your kids snacks?? But now, the father clapped back in a video that showed him addressing the haters: ‘I am sick and tired of everybody taking a shot at my wife Tori Spelling. Just because she’s a celebrity they think they can say or do whatever they want. It’s a snack people. Haven’t we given our kids a snack before, huh? Cakes, cookies, whatever. It’s a snack. She’s a great mom. We’re great parents. Our kids eat healthily. They eat a lot of fruits and vegetables and occasionally they have a snack.’
He went on: ‘So can we get over ourselves? This is newsworthy, huh? We give our kids a snack and people are lining up to take pot shots at my wife. All you parents out there who think you are holier than thou, let he who is without sin cast the first stone.’
