Tori Spelling has been receiving criticism after she revealed one of the ‘heathy snacks’ she feeds her children is muffins! It is safe to say that the star’s followers did not agree with her definition of healthy.
It all started with Spelling promoting muffins as a nutritious snack for kids in a new social media ad.
The hate did not take long to appear, especially since people have slammed her before because of her young ones’ weight.
So when Spelling claimed Little Bites muffins are perfect for kids, people were outraged.
Alongside a slideshow of pics of her bunch, the woman wrote: ‘This mom of 5 finds snack time a balancing act between pleasing my kiddos and feeling good as a parent about what I’m feeding them.’
She went on: ‘Thank you @littlebitessnacks for being yummy and kiddo approved ( my littles ❤️ the Chocolate Chip Muffins, Blueberry Muffins, and Strawberry Yogurt Muffins) while this mama bear is grateful that #lovelittlebites has no high fructose or corn syrup and is made with real ingredients like strawberries, blueberries, and bananas.’
While the mother of five made it seem like the muffins were perfectly healthy, her followers could not help but point out all the reasons why that is not the case!
Here are just a few of the disapproving comments disappointed fans left under her post: ‘So bad for you…full of fat and preservatives.’ / ‘Processed cr*p.’ / ‘Cmon.. check yo labels girl! If we know better, we should do better. There is nothing healthy about these and trying to pass them off as such is a true disservice to your fans.’
Others acknowledged that she did mention it was an ad for the muffin company.
However, they did not think it was an excuse to promote unhealthy food, even if she really needed that money.
